Mare Nostrum Petit Hotel - Pozzallo

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The owner even drove us to a place to buy our bus tickets home.

No one can speak any English. For people in the hotel industry it is totally unacceptable. One of the worst experiences of my life.

The hotel has been updated well with individual touches that make it bright, modern and airy. The staff were lovely and it was very quiet at night - we slept well. The breakfast was plentiful, with cereals, fruit, yoghurts, pastries and juices as well as different choices of hot drinks. The cappuchino was excellent!

Courteous host and hostess. Reasonable price. Pozzallo is not a tourist town, and so one can really experience the real city life. It is an excellent base for exploring the more famous towns around, such as Moderna, Ragusa and Noto by taking the local bus. In so doing, we saved qutie substantially in the room rate.

The toilet did not flush properly due to design flaw. We had to use the bucket or had to flush three times. The room is a bit small, and not comfortable enough. There were ants in the bathroom.

We stayed there only 2 nights. The room was very confortable, breakfast was nice and the staff were delicous.

I fell in love with the comfortability and service of the hotel. The staff has been very friendly in such a way that you can ask them anything with confidence and our sleep was not hindered.

During our stay at the Mare Nostrum Bed and Breakfast we like every thing.

What a pleasure to arrive at Mare Nostrum. Everything was fuss free from checking in/out, asking for an early breakfast as we were catching the morning ferry to Malta, to help with finding a Pharmacy open on a Sunday afternoon. The rooms were clean and roomy. Staff extremely helpful.

Language was a potentail here but the staff tried hard and were very helpful. Facilities were simple but adequate. You get what was on the box. Bed and breakfast with an adequate room

I liked best the hospitality of the hotel staff. Mr Caruso is very caring towards his clients and ensures that he provides the best quality service in all aspects - food, cleanliness, comfort, and most imortantly friendliness and helpfulness.
